Who we are
Shaoom Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, operating from London, United Kingdom and Navi Mumbai, India. We are the data controller for personal data collected through shaoom.ai.
What we collect
- Enquiry data — the name, email address, company, phone number and message you submit through our contact form.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected in aggregate to keep the site running and secure.
- Correspondence — emails, call notes and documents exchanged during an engagement.
Why we use it
We use enquiry data to respond to you and, where an engagement follows, to deliver and administer that work. Our lawful bases are legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry) and, once you become a client, performance of a contract.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not add enquirers to marketing lists without explicit consent.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies required for it to function. Any analytics we add will be privacy-preserving and disclosed here, and we will ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 24 months. Client records are retained for seven years after the end of the relationship to meet accounting and contractual obligations.
International transfers
Because we operate delivery teams in the United Kingdom and India, personal data may be accessed from both countries. Transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request portability. Write to hello@shaoom.ai and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
